“Let It Shine”
9x12 Oil $1300
Artist Statement:
“Let it Shine” was inspired by the emotional reaction I had seeing distant blue layers disappearing in the haze contrasted against the brightly lit hills. There is something spiritual about the land when it is glowing like this, and I wanted to capture the moment.

“Stairway To Heaven”
18x24 Oil $3000
Artist Statement:
“Stairway to Heaven” was painted from a photo I took while hiking with PAC6 on a day in May when the sky was putting on a show for us. This cloud formation looked like a staircase that reached upwards and had no end. I could hardly wait to get home and paint it.

“California Dreaming”
24x30 Oil $4500
Artist Statement:
“California Dreaming” was inspired by the incredible eucalyptus trees I saw on when I went to visit my daughter this winter. There had just been a rather heavy rainfall, and afterwards the sky cleared and the trees sparkled.
