Alex Kosich is a 24 year resident of Stallion Springs, where when he is not working, enjoys hiking and biking, thereby discovering local landscape subjects to paint. He is particularity drawn to the shapes and colors found in nature, especially when dramatically illuminated.

Local favorite areas to oil paint are Red Rock State Park, Jawbone Canyon, and Cummings Valley.
Born and raised in Central California, Alex graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. As a licensed architect he has pursued a career as a designer with multi-discipline architectural and planning offices in the Los Angeles area.

In 1991 he started his own consulting business focusing on specialty design and architectural illustration services. Clients include many international architectural firms and theme park corporations.
