Virginia Kamhi
Much as a poet uses words to express spirit, emotion, and beauty of thought, pastel artist Virginia Kamhi’s painterly realistic landscapes and seascapes convey the poetry, imaginative power, and rhythms of the natural wonders that surround her.
A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Kamhi has a master’s in fine art painting from Academy of Art University.
She has studied extensively with many eminent pastel artists, among them Richard McKinley, Albert Handell, Lorenzo Chavez, Liz Haywood-Sullivan, Jeanne Rosier Smith, Gil Dellinger, and Ojai artists Bert Collins and Jannene Behl.
A much-awarded artist, her work has been juried into numerous international, national, and museum exhibitions and featured in many magazines.
