Giddy Up Little Doggie: Visiting the Milano Ranch always gives way to some great inspiration of all the work that goes into a ranch. I spotted the pond with the cattle when I first got there to paint but most had moved on a different direction. I really didn't know that I was in for a treat when the owner saddled up his horse and tried to move the cattle towards the water hole. Well I was able to capture a few moments that I felt were very important for this painting, but the cattle had something else in mind as they moved on down the way, barely to be seen.
